What the website does and does not do

  • The website sets no cookies.
  • There are no visitor statistics, trackers or advertisements.
  • No fonts, maps or other parts of external services are loaded.
  • The website has no forms, so you cannot leave any data on it.

Like any website, the hosting provider may keep technical log files, such as the IP address and time of a visit. These are used to keep the website secure and available.

Making an appointment

Online appointments are not made on this website but on an external booking platform (Doctoranytime). When you click “Make an appointment”, you leave this website. The data you enter there are processed under that platform's privacy policy.

The route buttons open Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze. Other links lead to sites such as medpoint.be and apotheek.be. Only when you click such a link can that website see your visit. Their own privacy policies apply.

Calling and emailing

If you call or email the practice, your details are only used to answer your question and for your child's care. Ordinary email is not secure, so please avoid sending sensitive medical information by email.

Your child's medical record

What you tell me is covered by medical confidentiality. Your child's record is kept in line with the Belgian Patients' Rights Act and the European privacy rules (GDPR). As a parent you can consult the record, ask for a copy and have errors corrected. Please contact the practice to do so.

If you disagree with how data are processed, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit).
